That's What Little Boys Are Made Of

So, I had the pleasure of hosting a baby shower for one of my great friends. Mandy and Bert are such a great couple, & I'm so excited they're going to parents! They're expecting their little bundle of joy on January 28- so John Paul will be here before too long. I can't wait to hold him!!
This was my first baby shower to host & I really had fun making things and getting everything ready. It was also really funny to hear some of the ladies' stories about child birth!

Mandy's corsage...I made it
The food table- it was all so good! We even had hot chocolate because it was chilly outside- it was perfect!
The hostesses w/the Mommy-To-BeI guess Rhonda said something funny! The Mom
Mandy's Mother-In-Law gave her this cup & bowl set. It was Mandy's husband's when he was a baby...so cute.

Doesn't that look YUMMY???

On another note...like I mentioned in the last post, the dining room is done! It's not only done, but I have all the furniture in there (just nothing hanging on the walls yet). I love it SO, SO much.

My wall color inspiration...the table linens

The dog days of Fall...it was so chilly outside today, so the pups were trying to get as much warm sun as possible. Don't they look cute?!?

Hope you're having a great weekend- we had such a lazy night last night and I think we're going to have round two of doing nothing tonight. We both have colds & it's chilly outside...the perfect time to lay on the couch, drink hot chocolate, and do NOTHING!

Baby showers are so fun!! That is so sweet that the new daddy's mom passed on his plate & cup....that she kept it over the years to pass down is adorable!

The shower looks like it turned out great! I love your pumpkin colored walls... when we built our house my hubby had them paint everything the same. I love the paint color, but I miss my fun colors from our old house! =)

We are all sickly too. It will 100% be a hot cocoa day around here!

The shower looks like it was beautiful, and so is your new dining room!

Dining room looks great!! Looks like the shower turned out too!

I can't remember exactly where I got the plate holders but I can narrow it down for you, it was either Kirkland's, Hobby Lobby, or Garden Ridge! Those seem to be the places I hit up for little knick knacks around the house! :D

The dining room looks awesome!! And the baby shower looked like it was a lot of fun. The canvas is too cute! Way to go on being crafty! I can't wait for babies, but we aren't even married yet. GAH!
